Join Rock Paper Plant and Shop Made in DC to celebrate spring!

In this class, you’ll learn the basics of how to create felted structures all while creating your very own 3D cherry blossoms inside a decorative hoop. Needle felting is an easy and often relaxing way to create 3D sculptures out of wool.  We’ll teach you the basics of how to sculpt petals, branches, and buds; you get to put your own spin on the design.

No experience needed! Felting is a very forgiving medium.

1. Is the event family-friendly?

Yes! We've had kids as young as 8 in our felting classes. That said, this activity uses sharp needles, so we recommend that kids are supervised at all times to avoid injury.
